Bring the whole family to this FREE event. Hang out with neighbors and dance to Charlotte’s top house DJ’s. Grab a snack from a food truck, or a beer from the cash bar. And of course, don’t forget to #AmplifyYourVoice at our remote broadcasting station! Yep–we’ll be out all day, live-streaming the music and festivities, doing interviews, and more! We are so excited to be the live broadcasting partner for this popular event on Saturday, May 7th.

Join us in support of local talent, where 40+ Charlotte artists and vendors tempt you with their wares! And why fight temptation, when a portion of all proceeds benefit Crisis Assistance Ministry?

Of course, you can donate without a purchase; bring your gently-used clothing and household items, and help your neighbors in need. For more details, visit the NoDa Day in May Facebook event page!

The Carnival is Coming to Charlotte, NC: September 18th – 20th at Area 15 (514 E 15th St)

Carnival de Resistance Charlotte Schedule

“We are excited to convene a group of 20 talented artists, peacemakers and activists and re-construct our Carnival midway, big top, and village in Charlotte Sept 18 – 20, 2015 at Area 15. We will converge to bring to life the old stories and apply them to the ecological crises of today. Learn about the many resistant efforts in scripture through playful engagement in the midway, join in sacred space for song and theological reflection, and come learn how local artists and sustainability projects are working to confront oppressive systems. Friday and Saturday nights will end in Ceremonial Theater productions that weave music, theater, dance and circus arts along a journey that is ancient and contemporary, cross-cultural and mythopoetic. All are Welcome! Admission is FREE, but donations are welcome! No alcohol, but plenty of wildness! There is something for you: Check out our schedule for more details.” Carnival De Resistance

Charlotte Community Radio staff and hosts will be onsite Saturday, September 19th during they day to answer any questions you may have about our internet-based, community radio station. View our Facebook page for our schedule.
