Picture of Mark GreerThe unemployment rate for African-Americans is almost double that of the general population according to Meta J. Mereday. The unemployment rate may be one of the reasons African Americans choose their careers. Take a moment and think of what made you choose your career or your current job. Ideally, it should have been a combination of your passion and skill set.
