What does your work-life balance look like? Do you feel like you are putting in more hours at work than you are clocking at home or vice versa? According to Stay Young & Healthy there should be a balance in our professional and personal life. We all work hard to attain it. Some of us easily manage our professional and personal life, but some of us have difficulty doing so. It is essential for you to maintain a balance in your work life and personal life as well. By having a work-life balance, you can live your life to the fullest.
Work–life balance is a concept including proper prioritizing between “work” (career and ambition) and “lifestyle” (health, pleasure, leisure, family and spiritual development/meditation). If you are struggling with how to fit your career and ambition in with taking care of your health and enjoying your family, be sure to listen to my next Nine to Five show on Charlotte Community Radio. I’ll be in-studio with Robert Daughtridge, the Director of Program Development for Life Connections of the Carolinas. We will discuss how work-life balance should look and some ways you can begin to achieve it.
Robert graduated from Mount Olive College, where he earned two bachelor’s degrees in Clinical and Cognitive Psychology. He did his internship with Vocational Rehabilitation of North Carolina where he began to learn the ins and outs of the career services field.
Join me during the Monday, October 4th LIVE show as I discuss Work-Life Balance with Robert Daughtridge.
Nine to Five, hosted by Doneisha Wilson, airs LIVE every other Tuesday from 6:45pm to 7:45 pm via CharlotteCommunity Radio.org, CLTCRadio.org OR use the Mixlr app where you can listen and chat with our hosts and guests alike. It’s time to take your job search to the next level.
