We start the evening off with overcoming issues of depression, anxiety, and PTSD from childhood trauma, especially from sexual abuse, during the next Soul Connections show airing LIVE on Charlotte Community Radio, July 26th at 8pm.
The best medicine is to use an integrative approach, and joining me in the studio is Liz Burkholder, Family Nurse Practitioner and owner of Burkholder Wellness. Liz offers lots of eclectic services including wellness visits, sick visits, and mental and emotional health visits. She also offers house calls and telehealth visits. Being a survivor of these things herself, she believes it’s important for her clients to have someone they can relate to and not feel alone or judged in their journey.
Shelley Butler, Health Coach and founder of Carolina Health Coach, an integrative approach to living a balanced, healthy life, joins me during the second half of the show and she’ll share her own personal health journey with migraine headaches that led her down the path to helping others. She was fed up with the way migraines made her feel so she eliminated processed foods from her diet. WOW, what a difference it made! She also suffered from IBS, heartburn, and other digestion issues, which she now believes are all connected.
In today’s busy world, it is easy to get off track because we lose focus on what we should be doing to live a healthy, complete life. Learning ways to improve your overall health and eating habits transforms into a better quality of life. Listen to the show and you will learn how to make lifestyle changes that produce real and lasting results. Take charge of your health and help break down a lifetime of barriers.
Soul Connections, hosted by Denise Peters, airs every Tuesday from 8:00pm to 9:00pm via CharlotteCommunity Radio.org, CLTCRadio.org or use the Mixlr app where you can chat with our hosts and guests alike.
