Charlotte Folk Society Gathering Mar 11th: Joe Craven

Photo of Joe CravenThe Charlotte Folk Society’s (CFS) March Gathering features multi-instrumentalist Joe Craven. He’s “not just an entertaining musician with a penchant for the mischievous. He is a teacher and student all at once and he will draw you into his performance by including you as though you’re part of the show itself. His gift of gab is unprecedented and his musical knowledge impressive. Joe’s openness and expression of gratitude for the gifts he’s acquired make it all the more fun for him to share them with his audience.” CFS

Joe brings his “one man folk show” to the Great Aunt Stella Center, located at 926 Elizabeth Avenue near Uptown Charlotte, on Friday, March 11th. This is a concert for the entire family and we promise you’ll leave with a smile on your face! Arrive at 7:00pm when the doors open to hear the Myers Park High School Bluegrass Club play in a pre-concert.

The Friday, March 11th concert at The Great Aunt Stella Center is presented in partnership with the Myers Park High School Bluegrass Club and Charlotte Community Radio.

Interested in learning a thing or two from the man himself? He’s got a fabulous workshop offering on Saturday, March 12th.
