Celebrities are everywhere you look these days! You can find them on the cover of a magazine, all over the Internet and even on your personal social media accounts. Does the over exposure of celebrities make us feel like we know them personally? Do we admire them so much that we want to be like them? Are these images even something to aspire to? More importantly, is it assumed that when you are a celebrity, being a role model comes with the territory?

This week on Fair Game, VickyRo, Pierrea Javon and NellyP explore the topic of celebrities being role models.

When you decide to own being a role model it can become a huge responsibility. It opens up your actions and choices to extreme criticism by random outsiders. So who really is a good role model? Who is really ready to take that on? Can anything be done to separate the two? And let’s not forget to acknowledge that some people still have role models that they personally know.
