Want To Get Involved?

Here’s your chance to get in on the ground floor as a volunteer who will help us shape, launch and manage the Charlotte Community Radio Station. Volunteers meet twice monthly to work on our non-profit policy making, funding efforts, community outreach activity, programming, online streaming, and much more. If you’re ready to get started, complete the Volunteer Form & Questionnaire or contact us with questions.

Get On Air!
Anyone wanting to get on air with Charlotte Community Radio should complete our CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS form. Within 72 hours, we will contact you with a request for a face-to-face or phone interview. After the interview, we will invite you to attend one of our Orientation Sessions. Training, show approval and time slot assignment will be part of the next steps and will be discussed in greater detail.

Charlotte Community Radio is a 501c3 non-profit organization run by volunteers. All volunteers, hosts, DJs, and/or producers will be classified as “Volunteer Members” and all volunteers must commit to 40 hours of time (not consecutive) in other areas while demonstrating their commitment to our internet-based radio station efforts.
